An unmanaged Linux VPS means you are root and we are not. You run apt. You open ports. You take the backups. VGNCloud provisions the machine, the IPv4, the panel firewall, and the browser console. Live plans stay on the VPS page.
What unmanaged is
Debian or Ubuntu, your packages, your daemons. Docker, a worker, a site stack you built. We do not log in to install WordPress for you. One-click WordPress is web hosting. If you want us to run updates on a site, that is managed hosting, a different product.
What we still do
- Build the guest. About two minutes. First login and SSH.
- Give you root or the key you pasted. Linux VPS with root.
- A firewall outside the guest, and a console when SSH will not do. Firewall. Console.
- Let you grow the plan later. Upgrade a VPS plan.
What we do not do
We do not snapshot the disk yet. Backups. We do not run a game panel on this product. ValueGameNode is that shop. We do not patch the kernel for you.
Is unmanaged the right buy
Yes if someone will maintain the guest. No if you wanted a panel and SSL and nothing else. When you need a VPS. Your own VPS.
