VGNCloud VPS storage is NVMe. That is a fact about the disk, printed next to the size on the VPS page. It is not a synthetic score, and this page will not invent one.
What the letters mean
SATA is the older interface. Fine for archives, backups you keep yourself, and sites that wait on the network more than on the disk. NVMe talks to the machine over a faster path. Databases, build agents, and WordPress with a large object cache feel that path. A static brochure often will not.
When it changes the buying decision
If you are choosing between web hosting and a VPS because โNVMe is fasterโ, stop. Shared hosting and a VPS are different products. The hosting page describes the web plans; the VPS page describes the machines. Disk type is one line, not the reason to skip the cheaper box.
If you already need a VPS โ root, a daemon, isolation โ then NVMe is what you get on every plan we list. You do not pick SATA to save money here. You pick S, M or L by memory. How to choose a plan.
What we will not claim
No โup to 3 GB/sโ. No comparison chart against a brand we do not operate. No promise that your WooCommerce checkout will drop from two seconds to two hundred milliseconds. If a vendor shows a huge sequential number, ask what the workload was.
Backups are still your job
Fast disks do not copy themselves off the machine. We do not snapshot the VPS yet. Read backups before you treat the NVMe as the only copy.
